Welcome to Thomas Herefords!!!
Thomas Herefords is located in western Montana in a little old town called Gold Creek. The ranch was founded by Richard & Shirley Thomas in 1957, as a purebred & commercial Hereford ranch. Richard & Shirley started the ranch as newly weds and continue to be a vital part of the operation to this day.
Thomas Herefords currently runs 225 head of mature cows, 40 head of first calf heifers and retains 75 replacement heifers each year. We at Thomas Herefords sell 50 bulls and 30 heifers annually through private treaty.
Thomas Herefords has been blessed with success in the show ring across the country. Our cattle are attractive phenotypically and appealing genotypically and are made for the purebred breeder as well as the commercial man. We offer many bulls and heifers that are in the top 10% of the four breed indexes (BMI$, CEZ$, BII$ and CHB$).
